In the somewhat appropriately named German town of Wacken, two elderly residents of a nursing home went missing. They were found hours later attending a heavy metal music festival.
Police found the aging metalheads at 3 am at Wacken Open Air, the world’s biggest heavy metal festival. A police spokeswoman said they were “disoriented and dazed.”
Or were they dazed and confused? Either way, they didn’t want to go home, and police had to take them back against their will.
